Booking & Payment
Booking your in-salon service couldn’t be easier. Head over to the scheduling portal using one of the Book An Appointment buttons and select your service and pick one of the available time slots. You will receive e-mail confirmation of your booking.
You will receive SMS reminders 48 hours before your appointment.
For all chemical services, a patch test must be carried out at least 48 hours prior to appointment so please bear this in mind when choosing your appointment and book the relevant consultation and patch test appointment to avoid delay or cancellation of your service.
We accept cash or card payments. Prices are subject to change and can change without prior notice. Please use the price list as a guide only.
SPECIAL OCCASION BOOKINGS - If you require a weekend occasion hair/ makeup appointment, please email me at claire@claireburchell.com as weekends are usually reserved for weddings but if I can accommodate your request, I will. Weekend special occasion hair & makeup bookings require a 50% booking fee to secure the appointment which will be deducted from your total on the day. Booking fees are non-refundable.
Cancellation
If the client needs to reschedule or cancel the appointment, we ask that you allow 48 hours notice to cancel or rearrange as any less than 48 hours, means it is very unlikely that I will be able to fill your appointment.
If a client cancels with less than 48 hours notice on two occasions or more, then future appointments will be subject to a booking fee. In the event that the client cancels outside of the cancellation policy, the booking fee will not be refunded or transferred unless rescheduling appointment within 24 hours (subject to availability).
If the client has symptoms of any contagious viruses including, but not limited to Covid-19, conjunctivitus, herpes, head lice, colds & flu or sickness, we reserve the right to refuse the appointment to avoid risk of infection and cross-contamination. No refund will be due. With this in mind, I politely ask that you notify me as soon as possible to let me know if you have any illnesses, colds or sickness so that I can reschedule your appointment.
In the unfortunate event that Claire Burchell Hair & Makeup is unable to perform services on the wedding date for any reason including but not limited to illness, accident, extreme weather or personal emergency every effort will be made to find an alternative appointment date/ time (or source an alternative artist for occasion bookings). In the event that a replacement artist cannot be secured, the client will receive a full refund of all deposits and payments for services not provided (excluding services already provided).
Client Responsibility
The client should inform Claire Burchell Hair & Makeup of any allergies, sensitivities or intolerances at the time of booking or no later than 48 hours prior to the appointment. Allergies and reactions can occur at any time and patch testing is only an indicator.
Claire Burchell Hair & Makeup reserve the right to refuse service to the client or any members of the party for, but not limited to abusive and/or threatening behaviour.
Photography
The client agrees that Claire Burchell Hair & Makeup may use any photography for publicity purposes which include but are not limited to use on the company’s website and social media platforms unless the client has expressly withdrawn their consent in writing.
PLEASE NOTE THAT BY SECURING A BOOKING WITH CLAIRE BURCHELL HAIR & MAKEUP, THE CLIENT ACCEPTS THESE TERMS & CONDITIONS.
